Nov 3rd, 2008 · Road signs in Wales are bilingual. But somebody making those signs apparently does not speak Welsh. The person needed the Welsh translation. And emailed a request to an interpreter. Some kind of message bounced back. And without further checking, that message was applied to the road sign. Which explains how Welsh drivers looked up to see a road sign that reads: "I am not in the office at the moment. Send any work to be translated."

Nov 16th, 2007 · A fighter plane from World War II is uncovered just yards away from a beach in Wales. The American P-38 was flying a practice mission in 1942. Something went wrong with the fuel supply and the pilot made an emergency landing in the surf. He walked away leaving the plane behind.
Jul 23rd, 2007 · Intense rainfall in England has caused rivers to burst banks and streets to become like rivers. More than a month's worth of rain dowsed England and Wales in just hours on Friday, forcing evacuation and threatening the water supply. More rain is forecast.
Jul 12th, 2007 · Dave Barclay showed up for his friend's wedding in Wales after flying from Toronto. He called the groom for directions and discovered he was a year early. Barclay told the BBC: "He just said July the 6th, and if you tell a guy July 6th they're going to think it's this year."
