Bhutto's Return to Pakistan Marred by Bombing

Oct 19th, 2007 · There's been condemnation around the world for a bombing attack against former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and her supporters. Within hours after her triumphant return to Karachi, a suicide bomber attacked the Bhutto convoy as it was moving through downtown. She was unhurt, but more than 130 people were killed and many more wounded in the deadliest attacks in Pakistan's turbulent history.
