Stolen Eatery Dollars Used To Pay Court Fine

The restaurant, in a small town near California's Sierra Mountains, is for sale. And an especially clueless thief tried to spend what turned out to be an $8,000 theft of the marked money. Authorities say the man tried to use some of the cash to pay a court fine.

Feb 6th, 2008 · Michael Millhouse appeared in a photo on the front page of the Lewiston (Idaho) Tribune, putting up holiday decorations. The front page also featured a surveillance image of an unidentified thief. Readers noticed the two photos showed the same guy. Millhouse was sentenced to 30 days' house arrest for stealing a woman's purse.

Dublin Man Steals Trailer Full of Beer from Guinness

Utah Man Rigs Alarm for Campaign Sign Thief
