Pig Legs Bring Home Bacon For London Shop

Jan 18th, 2010 · The world's most expensive ham goes on sale Monday at a posh food store in London. Each Albarragena ham leg is wrapped in a special apron made by a Spanish tailor. Given the $3,000 price tag, the hams come with DNA certificates — proving the meat comes from pigs fed on wild grasses, roots and acorns who roam freely in the fields of western Spain.

Author and journalist Gerald Nachman has written a new book about Ed Sullivan, called Right Here on Our Stage Tonight. Scott talks to Nachman about some of those less mainstream acts and the impact the program had on American culture.

Speculation flew that he had bleached his skin or was suffering from a medical condition. But in an interview Wednesday to the Spanish-language network Univision, Sosa blamed the bright television lights for the way his skin appeared. He added, however, that a European moisturizer he uses also bleaches his skin.
