Oct 19th, 2009 · The British pop band Depeche Mode doesn't get as much press as it used to, but it did make headlines at a performance in South America. After the show, the band's front man was caught on video shouting to fans, "Thank you very much, Chile!" The problem is they were in Peru. The two countries have been bitter rivals since a 19th century war. A band spokesman denies the faux pas claiming the singer just said "good night."
