Nov 4th, 2008 · Officials in Chicago are expecting nearly a million people to pour into the city's streets for Barack Obama's election night event. Chicago's skyline will be the backdrop to the party which will be held in the city's main park. It is a ticketed event with standing room only for about 65,000 people.
Aug 21st, 2008 · In the late 1990s, JazzSet made two visits to the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival in Gresham, Ore. Music started before noon, and as the sun burned the haze away, the snow-capped peak shimmered on the skyline, helping to inspire memorable performances by the Billy Childs Trio and the John Blake Quintet.

Six new sites, under consideration for completion between 2012 and 2014, could host buildings reaching as high as 656 feet, or a little under two-thirds the height of the Eiffel Tower.
