Residents woke one morning to find a statue of a local hero sporting yellow skin and a bald head. The dignified Lord John Scott was transformed into Homer Simpson overnight. It's not clear who the pranksters are but local residents want to find them and congratulate them on the level of detail in the makeover.

Dec 31st, 2009 · The Fox television network has rejected an offer from Time Warner Cable to submit to binding arbitration in a dispute over fees. The current deal expires at midnight Thursday. If no deal is reached, millions of cable subscribers could lose programs including The Simpsons and several football bowl games.

Former Republican United States Senator Alan Simpson and author R. Dwayne Betts have filed an amicus brief in the case. Sep 11th, 2009 · The silk screen paintings were on display in a businessman's living room and his house was locked. It wasn't clear exactly how the thieves got into the home. Ten paintings were stolen, including pictures of O.J. Simpson, Muhammad Ali, Pele and tennis champion Chris Evert. A $1 million reward was being offered for information leading to the return of the artwork.
