Cleveland Paper Demotes Orchestra Critic ***

Sep 30th, 2008 · The Plain Dealer in Cleveland has demoted veteran classical music critic Donald Rosenberg, who has come under fire for writing critical reviews of Cleveland Orchestra conductor Franz Welser-Most. Rosenberg will no longer be allowed to write about the orchestra he's covered for 28 years.

Jury Papers Cast Doubt On Rosenberg Conviction ****

Sep 15th, 2008 · Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were executed in 1953, after a controversial trial in which they were found guilty of handing nuclear secrets to the Soviet Union. Now, newly released jury transcripts suggest that Ethel Rosenberg may have been convicted on perjured prosecution testimony.
