The African gray parrot spilled the information to a vet, after keeping mum with the police. His owners had taught the bird what every child should knows: How to recite his name and address. While waiting for his owners, Mr. Nakamura acted like a bird and sang a few songs.
Aug 20th, 2007 · The remnants of Tropical Storm Erin continue to cause problems in the Midwest. Six people died in Oklahoma -- where flooding has gotten worse. In Guthrie, officials used helicopters to rescue people from roofs and canceled the first day of school.
Jul 3rd, 2007 · The flood engulfing homes to the rooftops in Coffeyville, Kan., carried an extra curse as a slick of 42,000 gallons of thick crude oil floated downstream with the mud and debris, coating everything it touched. A malfunction allowed the oil to spill from the Coffeyville Resources refinery while the plant was shutting down in advance of the flood heading toward it on the Verdigris River.
