Apr 15th, 2008 · The clerk at a cigarette store figured out the best way to stop a robbery. It wasn't the alarm, or even a gun. Police in Des Moines, Iowa, say that when the man struck, the clerk started pelting him with cans of chewing tobacco.
Apr 2nd, 2008 · A thief who stole an X-Box game player in Philadelphia got more than he bargained for when the rightful owner blogged about the theft. Gamers tracked the thief through the Internet and spammed him into submission. The X-Box was anonymously returned.
Apr 2nd, 2008 · You could think of this as an endorsement of Taco John's restaurant in Kalispell, Mont. Police contend that Shane Roe walked in demanding money and free food. He was holding a weapon. It was only an air gun, but it was made to look like a powerful Glock. Still, a Taco John's employee refused him. So Roe apparently modified his plans. According to police, he orderd a taco. He sat down to eat it. And he paid for it.
