Mar 6th, 2006 · A circus company executive is being sued for spying on a group of animal rights activists. Kenneth Feld, the CEO of Ringling Brothers Circus, takes the stand this week in a civil suit filed by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, also known as PETA. The group is seeking $1.8 million in damages, and alleges that the circus hired people to infiltrate the organization.
