She still suffers from the effects of brain injuries, but she gets support from Rex, the bomb-sniffing German Shepard she thought had died in the blast, and from her husband, the medic who saved Jamie's life.
May 27th, 2008 · Chicago-based psych pop group The M's open their latest album, Real Close Ones with the aptly named "Big Sound," a thundering track with gritty guitars, rumbling bass, blaring horns and distorted vocals. Apr 24th, 2008 · Scientists are puzzled by the purported discovery of something they thought couldn't possibly still exist — bits of soft tissue from a Tyrannosaurus rex. Fossil-hunters found the matter two years ago, and skeptics have challenged its authenticity. But now there's new evidence suggesting the tissue is the real thing.
Dec 4th, 2007 · At last, a dinosaur with skin and bones. It was discovered several years ago by a teen on his family ranch in North Dakota. The 67 million-year-old Hadrosaur has actual fossilized skin with scales and a suggestion of stripes. A British paleontologist says it's "King Tut meets T. Rex."
Jun 28th, 2006 · The members of an 80-year-old Portuguese social club in New Bedford, Mass., have taken a bold step to try to save their organization. Rex's has its first female president. Members were divided on whether a 38-year-old woman should run the club. But Rex's membership is aging, and few new people are joining. Its members say that without Rex's, the next generation of New Bedford's Portuguese community would miss out on an important part of their tradition.
Feb 8th, 2006 · The most famous of all the giant meat-eating predators that walked the Earth actually started out rather small, at least as dinosaurs go. A fossil dubbed the "crowned dragon" shows it was a 90-million-year climb to the top of the food chain for T. rex.
