Frenchman David Moncoutie won Thursday's 12th stage, becoming the 15th Frenchman since World War II to win on Bastille Day, France's national holiday.

According to Labaton, the CPB has said for many years that it's not allowed to hire lobbyists to push for measures.

When the Redskins have won their last home game, the incumbent party has retained the White House. Sunday, the Redskins lost their last home game before the elections to the Green Bay Packers, 28-14.
