But the Democratic Party alleges interference by Justice Department officials, and are asking Congress to investigate.

Jerry Gossett claims that he copyrighted one letter and two numbers. It was a George W. Bush re-election sticker reading, "W-04." He says the Republican National Committee stole his idea, and cost him $7.5 million. The RNC calls the suit frivolous. But it's going ahead in Federal court in Texarkana.
