Apr 3rd, 2008 · The Japanese company Toshiba says it is finalizing deals with two U.S. energy companies to build four new nuclear power reactors worth about $14 billion. According to reports, two of the reactors could be in Georgia, the other two in South Carolina.

Gadhafi will meet with French President Nicolas Sarkozy at least twice in his five-day visit, aimed at spurring investment in Libya. The pair will also finalize $3 billion in contracts; France is reportedly selling Libya Airbus jets, a nuclear reactor and military equipment.
