At the session, Dorgan released CPB emails and other documents showing "raw data" from a report Tomlinson secretly commissioned to track public broadcasting shows for political content.

Feb 18th, 2005 · PBS will feed stations an expletive-deleted version of next Tuesday's show Frontline. The documentary A Company of Soldiers contains "raw" language used by troops in Iraq. PBS says it can't ensure that stations won't face FCC fines if the show airs unedited. Frontline executive producers say none of the expletives violate indecency rules.

Researchers report in Science that without coaching, the children used language rules to create a whole new language from the raw material of gestures in order to communicate. NPR's Joe Palca reports.
