Justice O'Connor Criticizes Campaign Finance Ruling

Clause Allows Santa To Run In West Virginia **

Former Justice Asks Congress for Alzheimer's Aid

May 14th, 2008 · Retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor testifies Wednesday before the U.S. Senate's Special Committee on Aging about her husband's struggle with Alzheimer's. It is the first time O'Connor has spoken publicly and at length about the disease. She urges Congress to speed research on finding a cure. Her husband's diagnosis was the main reason she stepped down from the court in 2005. She says he is "not in very good shape."
