Citing Weezer, the Beatles and Nirvana among his influences, the 25 year old musician makes a mix of jangly, melodic pop and rock with plenty of power chords. It's A King Thing produced ten tracks for the RPM Challenge and an album called Proper Nouns, featuring the song "Old Hobbies."
Oct 22nd, 2007 · Former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl formed Foo Fighters after the death of Nirvana's Kurt Cobain in 1994. Foo Fighters' latest, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, includes a song Grohl wrote for two miners who, trapped in an Australia mine collapse, asked rescuers to send down an iPod loaded with Foo Fighters songs.
