Dems Allege Interference in Phone-Jamming Case
Mar 26th, 2007 · A federal appeals court has overturned the conviction of a Republican National Committee operative who green-lighted a scheme to jam phone lines on Election Day five years ago, disrupting New Hampshire Democrats' get-out-the-vote efforts. But the Democratic Party alleges interference by Justice Department officials, and are asking Congress to investigate.
