Downtown Detroit on Endangered List
Jun 2nd, 2005 · The National Trust for Historic Preservation is placing all of downtown Detroit on its list of 11 most endangered historic sites in the country. The Trust says there are several historic sites in Detroit in danger from neglect. It's also concerned by city efforts to clean up before July's baseball All-Star Game and February's Super Bowl.
