Oct 16th, 2008 · After PBS anchor Jim Lehrer moderated the first presidential debate, the folks at Ben and Jerry's shipped over a new flavor, made in his honor: "Chocolate Lehrer Cake." The ice cream team also came up with other politically inspired treats: "Baracky Road" and "McCandy Cane." They're only available in Vermont. Nothing to do with politics. It's just that this long election season is still too short to market new flavors.
