Nov 4th, 2008 · Two students from Seaholm High School in Birmingham, Mich., are volunteering at an election precinct. The two friends don't share the same political viewpoints. Ashley Harte and Scott Stoddard are too young to vote, but they tell Renee Montagne this election is too thrilling to miss.
Oct 21st, 2008 · In the tiny town of Paradise, Mich., John Dreves has donated $16,000 to the struggling sports program at the local school. He raised every dime by collecting and returning empty bottles and cans.
Oct 2nd, 2008 · Across the country, homes are going cheap. In Saginaw, Mich., one just sold on eBay. The winning bid came from Joanne Smith of Chicago. The price: $1.75. In Texas, Cissie Owen has found her beach cabin. She thought Hurricane Ike destroyed it. Turns out the storm surge picked it up, moved it across the highway, and deposited it completely intact. Owen calls it a "feisty little cabin." She has no plans to move back in.

After it languished on the market for a year, they decided to put their dollhouse up for sale for $169,000 and throw in the real house for free. The marketing move generated media attention and the Mann's found a buyer. Best of all, they get to keep the dollhouse.

The city wants to add 14 surveillance cameras around town. For $30,000, residents can have their name or a corporate logo put on the surveillance box.
