Jun 8th, 2006 · Over the past three years, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi had emerged as the most feared figure in Iraq. The man reported killed in an air raid Thursday was the suspected mastermind behind many of the kidnappings, beheadings and bombings that followed the 2003 U.S. invasion.

Jul 22nd, 2005 · News reports have named a British citizen named Haroon Rashid Aswat as a key player in the July 7 London attacks that left more than 50 people dead. Some say he may be the "mastermind" investigators have been looking for. U.S. officials urge caution, but say Aswat tried to set up an al Qaeda training camp in Oregon a few years back.
Jun 28th, 2005 · A federal jury in Birmingham, Ala., acquits former HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy on all counts of a massive fraud charge against him. Scrushy was accused of masterminding a $2.7 billion accounting fraud at the company he founded. Prosecutors viewed the case as a test of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
