Madelyn Dunham, Obama's Grandmother, Dies
Nov 3rd, 2008 · Dunham, who played a large role in raising Barack Obama, died Monday. She was 86. Although Dunham had been too ill to appear on the campaign trail with her grandson, Obama spoke of his grandmother at some of the most crucial moments in his political career.
