Cell Phone Stops Bullet, Saves Man's Life

Nov 21st, 2008 · R.J. Richard says he normally puts his cell phone in his pants pocket. But he didn't do that when he mowed his five-acre lawn. The Louisiana man put the phone in a chest pocket. So the phone was in the perfect place to stop a bullet heading his way. Richard thinks the stray bullet came from a hunter in the nearby woods. He's convinced that he put the phone in that different, life-saving place, because of a call from God.
