Nov 25th, 2008 · Police say a man in Leavenworth, Kans., wanted to steal an entire ATM. It weighed 3,000 pounds, so he drove it away in a skid-loader. To try to crack open the machine he dropped it over a 50-foot embankment. That is when the skid loader also fell. Police arrested the injured man at the bottom.

Not only is he a part of the Missouri-based rock band Minus Story, but he also plays the trumpet in Shearwater. Recently, however, Geiger has stepped to center stage for a solo effort under the moniker Hospital Ships.

The Stability Operations Field Manual was put together at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., the home of the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center. The new doctrine will drive Army resources, organization and training for many years to come.

May 5th, 2008 · One year ago today, the small town of Greensburg, Kan., awoke to a tornado ripping through their town. The storm destroyed many homes and countless possessions, and leveled all of the town's churches. After a year of rebuilding, and a weekend of reflecting on the natural disaster, many Greensburg residents have found renewed faith in their town and in themselves.
