Nov 1st, 2009 · There will be drama on and off the football field this weekend as the Green Bay Packers face their longtime rival, the Minnesota Vikings. The game will be the first time Vikings quarterback Brett Favre will come back to play at his one-time home, the storied Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Some fans feel betrayed that the former Green Bay legend now wears a Minnesota jersey, and it remains to be seen how he will be welcomed back.

Each time a player failed to score, he lost a piece of equipment. Nobody actually ended up naked on the ice. But Marty St. Louis lost his helmet, elbow pads, gloves, jersey, shoulder pads and both skates before finally scoring a goal.

Favre is now Minnesota's quarterback, after coming out of retirement. A bar and grill will set up a flaming barrel. A charity will get $10 every time a Packers' fan throws in a green Favre jersey, poster or picture.

Sep 23rd, 2009 · On Sunday a woman came to the door of an elderly New Jersey couple. She said she was from a local church. As she distracted the senior citizens, three people slipped inside the house to steal the safe. The intended victims are in their eighties. But when the husband realized what was happening, the World War Two veteran dropped his cane, rose from his wheelchair, slugged the theives and recovered his safe.
