GOP Ticket In Hershey, PA. *

Oct 29th, 2008 · In the last four presidential elections, Pennsylvania has gone Democratic. The Republican ticket was campaigning in that swing state Tuesday. John McCain and Sarah Palin were in Hershey hoping voters there will give them a sweet victory next week.

'Marketplace' Report: Check Your Spices

Aug 25th, 2008 · That might not be chocolate you're eating. Some big food makers have been altering their recipes on candy and other products to save money. Hershey is substituting vegetable oil for cocoa butter in some chocolate bars, for example, and spice maker McCormick is now using Mexican oregano instead of the more expensive Mediterranean version.

Hershey Plans to Shed 1,500 Jobs ****

Feb 16th, 2007 · The largest U.S. chocolate maker -- Hershey -- says it will trim 1,500 jobs, or about 11 percent of its workforce. Hershey says it will also close some U.S. plants and move some production to Mexico. When the overhaul is complete, officials say production from North America and Canada will make up about 80 percent of the company's total, down from 90 percent.

Remembering the Night of 100 Points: 'Wilt, 1962' ****

Jun 21st, 2005 · On March 2, 1962, a giant rolled into Hershey, Pa., and rolled up 100 points on the New York Knicks. The giant, of course, was the legendary Wilt Chamberlain, the center for the Philadelphia Warriors. He was a player who changed the NBA forever.
