Sep 2nd, 2008 · The Justice Department's Inspector General says former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales mishandled classified documents. The report says Gonzales took home the documents related to the domestic-surveillance program, and did not secure them in a safe there.

Dec 13th, 2007 · Maybe on the theory that any publicity is good publicity, the Journal of the American Bar Association has chosen Albert Gonzales as its "Lawyer of the Year." The journal emphasized the former attorney general was not the best lawyer. But Gonzales did make the most news in 2007.
Nov 10th, 2007 · The National Association of Former U.S. Attorneys is meeting this weekend in Miami, for the first time since the scandal over allegations the Justice Department fired U.S. attorneys for political reasons. Some of the fired prosecutors were in Miami for the event. At least one of the prosecutors sees grounds to file criminal charges against former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.
