Nov 21st, 2008 · R.J. Richard says he normally puts his cell phone in his pants pocket. But he didn't do that when he mowed his five-acre lawn. The Louisiana man put the phone in a chest pocket. So the phone was in the perfect place to stop a bullet heading his way. Richard thinks the stray bullet came from a hunter in the nearby woods. He's convinced that he put the phone in that different, life-saving place, because of a call from God.

Oct 23rd, 2008 · A New York City man is convinced the elephant-headed Hindu god Ganesh appeared to him in his backyard as a purple flower. The 4-foot tall plant sprouted up between concrete slabs in Sam Lal's backyard in Queens. He says the plant began to resemble an elephant's head and trunk. Lal, a Hindu, told the New York Daily News the plant has healed his back pain. Adding,"They say God comes in many forms. I figure this has taken the form of a plant to come into my yard and bless me."

Oct 16th, 2008 · A Nebraska state senator last year filed a lawsuit against God. Ernie Chambers sought an injunction against God because of widespread death and destruction. Judge Marlon Polk has thrown out the lawsuit. He says there's no way to properly notify the defendant. You can't serve papers on a man with no address. Chambers says he may appeal. He contends that God is aware of the charges, since God is all-knowing.
