May 20th, 2008 · In 2006, Frey was caught lying in his memoir, A Million Little Pieces. Two years later, he's back with a work of fiction set in Los Angeles. He discusses how he got over his "really, really bad year at work."
Sep 7th, 2006 · Disgruntled readers of the memoir-like book A Million Little Pieces may have a new recourse. Its author, James Frey, admitted earlier this year to fabrications in his story, which had been sold as a memoir. Frey, his publisher, Random House, and a group of readers have nearly finalized a settlement which will offer refunds to readers who feel they were defrauded. Michele Norris and Robert Siegel explain what it will take to get that refund.

Jan 10th, 2006 · William Bastone, editor of TheSmokingGun.com, discusses an article he wrote that details discrepancies between stories in James Frey's best-selling memoir A Million Little Pieces and public records such as police reports and court records. Through his attorney, Frey has strongly denied the accusations.
