Feb 10th, 2010 · Authorities say a man at a Wisconsin ski area had a little too much to drink. He saw an ambulance in a parking lot with the keys inside and took it for a joy ride. Apparently he did not notice the paramedics in the back treating a patient. He managed to drive around the parking lot before he was stopped.

Nov 24th, 2009 · New York state has a tough new law on drunk driving that includes serious jail time for people convicted of driving drunk with a passenger under the age of 15. If a child is injured, the driver could get up to 15 years in prison, and if a child is killed, that penalty rises to 25 years. The law is aimed at catching parents and other relatives who get behind the wheel of the family car when they've had one too many.

Nov 4th, 2009 · Police in Proctor, Minn., have had to start over with an online auction for a motorized recliner used by a man who pleaded guilty to driving it drunk. Authorities had to repost the chair after eBay notified them that it was not a La-Z-Boy brand as stated. It has been reposted as the "DWI Chair," which restarted a three-day auction.
