Florida Man Finds Pearl in Clam Dinner *

Jan 1st, 2008 · George and Leslie Brock stopped for a meal last weekend at Dave's Last Resort and Raw Bar in south Florida. Mr. Brock had the clams and a lot more. About half-way through his $10 dish, he bit down on something hard. It was a rare iridescent, purple pearl. A gemologist told The Palm Beach Post the pearl could be worth thousands of dollars.
