Billboard Campaign Sparks Abortion Debate

Those who oppose abortion say the campaign is an effort to increase awareness that the abortion rate is higher in minority communities. But abortion rights advocates say the campaign is dehumanizing and does not reflect the tough circumstances facing many minority women when they decide to end a pregnancy.

Bye Bye, Pandas

Feb 4th, 2010 · So long, Tai Shan. Farewell Mei Lan. As their fans know all too well, the National Zoo's Tai Shan and Atlanta's Mei Lan are headed across the Pacific to be part of a breeding program. It's part of the deal with China — the pandas were really only on "loan" and are to be part of the effort to increase the animal's population.

Panda To Leave National Zoo For China
