The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued warnings late last week that stores stop selling a popular candy imported from China and an instant coffee from Taiwan, but some of the items are still on store shelves.

Yellow Face, which opens tonight in New York's Public Theater, is a comedy with serious themes about race and the politics of identity. Hwang is the only Asian-American ever to win the Tony Award for best play, for M. Butterfly in 1988.
