Oct 26th, 2007 · Even as residents around the San Diego are being allowed to go back home, crews are still fighting raging wildfires in Southern California. Of the 20 fires still burning, the Santiago fire in Orange County and at least two others are being treated as arson cases.

May 24th, 2007 · In Oregon, a federal judge has begun sentencing a group of environmental activists who've pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy and arson. From 1996 to 2001, the group damaged meat packing plants, lumber mills, and SUV dealerships. Federal prosecutors persuaded the judge that the defendants are terrorists, and therefore, should get harsher punishment.

Dec 5th, 2006 · Mexican police arrest the most well-known leader of left-wing activists who have staged six months of protests in Oaxaca. Flavio Sosa was seized after he held a news conference in Mexico City. Police said he was wanted for his involvement in kidnapping, violent robbery and arson.

Nov 6th, 2006 · A public memorial was held in Southern California on Sunday for five firefighters killed by a wildfire blamed on arson.
