Jul 5th, 2006 · The company that builds Airbus airliners, EADS, promised on Monday to end its chronic internal rivalries and focus on operations after ditching two senior executives. EADS, a European consortium, has been run by a joint team of French and German executives. Both the men who resigned were French. Critics say the company has suffered from a rivalry between the French and German teams. But now, shareholders are said to be demanding a more streamlined management structure for the future.
